The Lelit PL043MMI coffee grinder is a good quality conical burr coffee grinder which is guaranteed to grind fine enough for espresso and can also be adjusted easily for plunger or drip.
The PL043MMI has micro-metric adjustment which is widely regarded as the most accurate method of adjustment for espresso coffee grinders. The MicroMetric adjuster works via a worm gear so that a turn on the adjustment knob results in a small change to the actual grind size. This allows the barista a great deal of control over the grind size.
The Lelit Combi has the PL043MMI grinder (with MicroMetric adjuster) built in.

Perfect
By: Ben T on 21 March 2024I had purchased the same model (Lelit PL43) grinder from JetBlack Espresso 10 years earlier and it did the trick well during that time until the motor finally gave out suddenly & it was more hassle to fix it than replace. I called up JetBlack Espresso, discussed the situation and ordered a current model of the same grinder which was dispatched from from NSW & arrived in Brisbane the next day, ensuring I had coffee over the weekend. This more recent version has some minor differences but does exactly what it needs to and is slightly quieter than the previous model. It looks really sharp next to my Lelit single boiler machine and is a lot cheaper than many other grinders out there. I’d thoroughly recommend it and can’t speak highly enough about my experiences in dealing with JetBlack Espresso on this occasion, but also historically as well. They really do go above and beyond.

Compact, microadjustable and consistent
By: Albert on 30 September 2022Though compact and moderately priced, don't be fooled. This is an excellent stepless grinder that allows precise dialling in of grind size. It's easy to dose precisely by grinding into a shot glass and then transferring to the portafilter. Just remember the instructions to make the adjustment of fineness while running, and you'll find the adjustment very fine and precise. If you dial it in to get the desired volume in 25-30 seconds and distribute and tamp the coffee well, your espresso will be just about perfect. That's assuming you have a good machine (mine is a Lelit Anna with PID) and an appropriate blend for espresso.

Coffee Grinder
By: Shaun Ryan on 17 September 2021A great addition to my home set up. Delivers a great grind and really gets the best out of the beans. I enjoyed tinkering to get the right grind setting but now it’s done, I’m very happy with it. Also great service again from the JetBlack crew who delivered again in the midst of the pandemic.

An excellent grinder to go with an excellent espre
By: Walter Starck on 26 February 2021I have recently replaced my 10 year old Gaggia Classic espresso machine and IberaItal grinder with an ECM Casa V machine and a Lelit PL43MMI grinder from Jetblack Espresso. Both of the new machines have proved to be a significant upgrade both as machines and ,most importantly, in the quality of their output. Jetblack Espresso has also provided excellent service and prices.

You can't make great coffee without a great grinde
By: Stephen Rutledge on 13 February 2020And its a great little grinder that sits next to my matching Lelit Mara coffee machine. Getting the right grind is easy to do with very precise control adjustment.
